American Safety Health Institute (ASHI) Basic Life Support (BLS) Training Course
Training for healthcare providers and professional responders how to recognize a life-threatening emergency, how to provide basic life support, and what to do in case of an airway obstruction or choking. This class does not provide basic first-aid - is BLS CPR only (for healthcare providers).

BLS training course is appropriate for:
- Nurses
- Doctors
- Respiratory Therapists
- EMTs/Paramedics
- Pharmacists
- Chiropractors/Physical Therapists
- Dental/Doctor's Offices
- And many other healthcare professions
Certification:
- Students must perform required skills competently without assistance
- A written evaluation is required for all students
- A 2-year certification card, issued by Oak Harbor Fire Department, will be provided at the completion of the course
- If required or desired, you may purchase an ASHI-issued certification card for $15
