Consisting of 4 personnel, supervised by the Special Services Division Sergeant, the Records Division is responsible for the quality and integrity of data entry and submission of NIBRS reports to the State and FBI, file preparation, integrity, dissemination to other agencies and the public, and the retention and destruction of records in accordance with State Retention Schedules. The Records staff answer all incoming calls and greets the public, as well as completing data entry of tickets, accidents and issuance of firearms licenses.

Property / Evidence duties performed by the Records Division include the intake, integrity, and disposition of items taken for evidence, found property, and safekeeping.
