The City of Oak Harbor is currently developing an ATP to identify projects and strategies to improve conditions for walking, biking, and rolling throughout the City with our contracted consultant Toole Design

The draft ATP document is available on the City website at www.oakharbor.gov/ATP. City staff is hosting a virtual open house meeting on Thursday, August 17, between 6 and 8 pm to review it.

The Draft Plan will be presented at the virtual meeting, followed by a question/comment session. Information for participating in the virtual meeting is available on the City website. Individuals requiring technical assistance can also join the discussion in person at City Hall - Council Chambers. The City is asking those attending in person to RSVP online at www.oakharbor.gov/rsvpatp

Per Senior Planner Cac Kamak, “The goal of this project is to gather input from the community about (active) transportation needs. We are using the information from the plan to determine future projects to make getting around (rolling, walking, biking) our community easier and safer.”

If you cannot attend the meeting, you can submit your comment online by August 31 at 5 pm at www.oakharbor.gov/draftatpcomment.

“I am excited to see the community’s response to the draft plan and hear their input about the next steps. I appreciate individuals taking the time to share their feedback with us.” - City Administrator Blaine Oborn.
