Oak Harbor, WA – The Oak Harbor City Council welcomed James P. Marrow, CWO4, USN (Ret.), as its newest member. With a distinguished career spanning 25 years in the Navy, 15 years as a Peace Officer, and extensive experience in community leadership, Mr. Marrow brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to this role.
A long-time Oak Harbor resident, Mr. Marrow holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master of Public Administration from Texas A&M University, and has been deeply involved in economic development and planning through roles such as Board Member of the Oak Harbor Main Street Association as well as the Oak Harbor Chamber of Commerce. His vision reflects his commitment to enhancing Oak Harbor for residents and visitors. His plan is to be nearly full-time in direct service to residents.
“It’s been a pleasure getting to know Councilmember Marrow through various community events we’ve attended, and I look forward to collaborating with him on future City projects,” said City Administrator Sabrina Combs.
