The Public Works Department starts road construction for overlay and Transportation Benefit District projects.
The contractor, Krieg Construction, Inc., will resurface approximately 2.4 lane miles of residential streets, including NW Haslo Place, NW 7th Avenue, NW Columbia Drive, NW Ebb Tide Court, NW Ensign Drive, NW Calista Court, and NW Atalanta Way.
The work starts on June 26 through July 14 (weather permitting). The project will include removing old asphalt and pre-paving work on June 26-30. Paving will take place between July 5 and 14. The community should plan for construction delays. Mayor Bob Severns reminds everyone to slow down in work zones.
