Deputy City Administrator Goldman is an accomplished municipal finance leader whose multidisciplinary background inspires his constant drive to innovate and educate. Mr. Goldman holds a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from Rutgers University a Master's Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Virginia Tech with a focus on Fiscal Impact Analysis. He is working on his dissertation for his Doctorate in Public Administration.
Additionally, he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and is a licensed real estate broker in two states. He serves on the Government Finance Officer's Association's Committee on Governmental Budgeting and Fiscal Policy and the National League of Cities Finance, Administration, and Intergovernmental Relations Committee.
In this new role, he will continue to serve as the City’s Chief Financial Officer, a role he has held for the last three years. He will also continue his work with Department Directors in developing goals, assisting with overall City operations, recommending policy actions for City Council consideration, and assume the duties of the City Administrator when Mr. Blaine Oborn is temporarily absent.
