Oak Harbor, WA, June 18, 2024 --- The City of Oak Harbor is pleased to announce the appointment of Sabrina Combs as the new City Administrator. Sabrina has been serving as the Interim City Administrator since March.
As City Administrator, she will oversee the daily operations of the city, working closely with city staff, elected officials, and the community to implement strategic initiatives and ensure the efficient delivery of public services. She brings a wealth of experience in government contracts, community outreach programs, inter-government relations, and emergency management communications. She is passionate about fostering a vibrant and sustainable future for Oak Harbor.
Mayor Wright appreciates Sabrina’s holistic views of the city's goals and is excited to work with her as she understands his vision and direction for the City.
In 2023, Sabrina completed the Northwest Women’s Leadership Academy's fourth cohort group. The academy's goal is to provide opportunities for women from diverse backgrounds and experiences to obtain the core skills necessary to move into local government leadership roles.
Sabrina responded by saying, “I appreciate the Mayor giving me this opportunity and look forward to working together as a team to achieve the City’s goals.”
