Park Overview
Volunteer Park is a 6-acre community park with ball fields and a skateboard park. The skate park offers a recreational activity for the community at a facility maintained by the City of Oak Harbor.
Skate Park Safety Rules
- All non-motorized bicycles, skateboards, longboards, roller skates, rollerblades, and Heelys, scooters, and unicycles.
- Skaters are doing so at their own risk. The skate park is not supervised, and the skate park is a use at your own risk recreational feature.
- Standing in the skate area is not allowed.
- The City strongly recommends:
- Use of helmets, kneepads, wrist pads, and gloves.
- Announce or call your run to others to avoid collisions.
- Observe skaters on the ramp and yield to others.
